Composition operators acting on weighted Hilbert spaces of analytic functions

In this paper, we considered composition operators on weighted Hilbert spaces of analytic functions and  observed that a formula for the  essential norm, gives a Hilbert-Schmidt characterization and characterizes the membership in Schatten-class for these operators. Also, closed range composition operators  are investigated.

Infinite-dimensional integration on weighted Hilbert spaces

We study the numerical integration problem for functions with infinitely many variables. The functions we want to integrate are from a reproducing kernel Hilbert space which is endowed with a weighted norm. We study the worst case ε-complexity which is defined as the minimal cost among all algorithms whose worst case error over the Hilbert space unit ball is at most ε. Here we assume that the c...

Phase Retrieval in Infinite-dimensional Hilbert Spaces

The main result of this paper states that phase retrieval in infinitedimensional Hilbert spaces is never uniformly stable, in sharp contrast to the finite-dimensional setting in which phase retrieval is always stable. This leads us to derive stability results for signals depending on how well they are approximated by finite expansions.

Pseudo-Hermiticity in infinite-dimensional Hilbert spaces

In infinite-dimensional Hilbert spaces, the application of the concept of pseudo-Hermiticity to the description of non-Hermitian Hamiltonians with real spectra may lead to difficulties related to the definition of the metric operator. These difficulties are illustrated by examining some examples taken from the recent literature. We present a formulation that avoids such problems. PACS numbers: ...
